New England is a rich treasure trove of inspiration. I paint what I love most-its mountains, waterfalls, lakes and seacoasts. Often, I paint people as they happen into the scene. Occasionally I need a fresh perspective and lively color so I take a diversion to paint flower gardens and wildlife. The Catskills, Hudson River Valley and Amish country in Pennsylvania also inspire me. Standing where the 19th century artists did, connects me with the history of this beautiful land. All of the paintings you see here are authentic and original from my on-location work and photographs.
